Q1:How to check whether the equipment is working normally or not? How to check whether it is running or not?

A: After the power is connected, there will be process of auto-detection if the POE device load to device.

When the device is not connected, the light will flash on and off once.When a non-POE device is connected, the network status light will light up, but the POE status light will not light up.When a non-standard POE device is connected, the network status light will light up, but the POE status light will not light up.When a standard POE device is connected, the network status light will light up, and the POE status light will light up.

Q2:Will it automatically detect whether there is a load connected? If no load is connected, will it enable PoE?

A: If there is no load, The POE will not be enabled.

Q3:Will it automatically detect whether the connected device needs PoE power supply? If you don't need POE power supply, what will happen?

A: The product has the function of auto detection whether the device needs POE power supply. If it is not a POE device, it won't supply power to prevent the device from burning out.

Q4:If the load is connected to a 24V passive PoE device by mistake, will it burn the 24V device?

A: If it is a non-standard POE device, it will not supply power.

Q5:What is the line pair of the switch?

A: Insert positive 1 and 2, and negative 3 and 6.

Q6:Does this switch support 30W PoE?

A: The total POE is 240W (when DC48V is input), and each port can output Max with 30W POE output. The total budget for DC24V input is 120W. The total budget is 80W when DC12V is input.

Great for use with IPE equipment using a solar pannel

This is my first using this 12V POW switch we are using for IPCameras and a solar panel to run 4 IPCameras this saves you from using a inverter to power a 110v switch. I will definitely use again for sure it also can be used in a RV or anyplace you don’t have 110v and can get 12VDC.
