Pricey, but worth it

There are cheaper options, but I've got one of these running in a hay loft and another in a basement. Both work wonderfully and haven't had a blip at all. The loft gets quite hot in the summer, so that's a testament to the quality and ruggedness.

Quality device, high enough capacity for my ONT

I went through another splitter before buying this one, realizing that my FiOS ONT consumes 20+ watts.

This one definitely delivers enough power to run it. I really like the screw in terminals instead of the DC plug. The aluminum chassis is also a nice touch, just looks higher quality than the plastic box of other brands. On the topic of looks, the ugly logo that's in the photos on Amazon is not present, to my delight.

Great little power splitter

A very handy little device to feed power to a data collection device that needs 24VDC but no power nearby. Now I can power it from my POE switch which is on a UPS too.

Quality Unit

Have run this to a 5G Modem device for MONTHS without issue. Finally the modem got tagged by some EMI during a nasty storm with lots of lightning. Took out the LAN port on the router and the network side of this device, but only on the device side. So it sacrificed itself at the switch to protect everything downline.

Swapped with a new unit / used a different LAN port and we're back in business. Only so much you can do with lightning!

We've been finding other uses for them, like retrofits for old TimeClocks that don't have PoE capability. Impressed with the reliability.

Worked as expected.

Used this to power a home automation controller via PoE+. Switch recognizes it as an 802.3at device and responds accordingly. Delivering close to 2 amps at 12 volts with no issue. Unit is barely warm to the touch.
